Within the broad framework of theories that exhibit spontaneous symmetry breaking, we explore three novel ideas for physics beyond the standard model. (1) We present the construction of Little Technicolor, which shows that many different symmetry breaking patterns can emerge from ordinary chiral symmetry breaking in scaled-up QCD, and we use this construction to construct a realistic ultraviolet completion of the littlest Higgs theory. (2) We discuss a phenomenologically viable model for spontaneous Lorentz violation called Gauged Ghost Condensation, where the scale of Lorentz violation can range from cosmological to particle physics scales, and we study some of its distinctive non-linear dynamics and experimental signatures. (3) Within the context of softly broken supersymmetry, we begin a systematic study of the LHC Inverse Problem, and show that in supersymmetric models without copious lepton production, there generically exists degeneracies---different patterns of soft masses with the same experimental collider signatures.
