    Summary: 本論文研究利用具有良好粒子分散性的奈米金粒子當作晶種,再吸附外層的鈀做為鈴木(Suzuki)反應上的催化金屬。利用transmission electron microscope (TEM)、scanning electron microscope (SEM)、ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis)鑑定所合成的奈米粒子,探討不同奈米粒子粒徑大小與外層鈀金屬厚度改變,對於催化活性的影響。研究結果顯示,金鈀奈米粒子來催化Suzuki反應,能有效提升催化反應的產率。當鈀厚度為1~2 nm時擁有最好的催化效果,此外只需要很低濃度(<1 % mole)的金屬催化劑就能達到很高的產率,其因係於奈米粒子內層金跟外層鈀之間產生電子傳遞的效應,造成外層的鈀金屬催化活性增加。當進行催化奈米粒子4次回收再利用後,催化反應的轉化率仍然保持良好的催化產率再現性。 In this study we synthesis well distribution gold nanoparticles (GNPs) as seed, palladium were reduced onto the surface of the seed particles by ascorbic acid, and then used as catalysts for the Suzuki reaction. TEM, SEM, and UV–vis spectrum were used to characterize the core–shell sample and the monometallic samples. To discuss different core size and shell thickness cause catalyst activity change. The results suggest that the best catalyst activity obtain when palladium thickness between 1~2 nm, and just only a little amount catalyst (<1 % mole) that can arrive high reaction yield. The improvement of activity is due to the electron transfer interaction between Pd shell and Au core. The core–shell structure could significantly improve the catalytic activity and stability of Pd in water under mild conditions, and after fourth cycles it still with good reusability and reproducibility.
