    摘要註: 教育是國家發展的根本,也是二十一世紀的希望工程,世界先進國家紛紛提出教育改革的藍圖,以提昇學校的效能。創造高效能的學校,最重要的關鍵應是校長的領導,本研究以校長轉換型領導及學校品牌形象來檢測其對學校效能的影響,其中以學校品牌形象作為中介變項來驗證其對校長轉換型領導與學校效能間的中介效果。本研究實施問卷調查法,採便利抽樣以台灣本島北、中、南及金門地區等公立高中職校長、主任、組長及教師為研究對象,共發出716份問卷,有效回收問卷634份,有效回收率為89%。經由探索性因素分析、Pearson 相關分析、信度分析及迴歸分析等,以驗證各項假設,得到研究結論有四:一、校長運用轉換型領導對學校效能有顯著的正向影響。二、校長運用轉換型領導對學校品牌形象有顯著的正向影響。三、學校品牌形象對學校效能具有顯著的正向之影響。四、學校品牌形象對校長轉換型領導與學校效能間具有部分中介效果。研究結果發現校長轉換型領導運用愈好,學校效能愈高,而學校品牌形象是學校獨一無二的無形資產,學校品牌形象愈好相對的正向提昇學校的效能,但學校品牌形象僅具部分的中介效果,表示校長轉換型領導的重要性,其對學校的效能有值得重視的影響力。本研究結果應可提供教育主管機關、學校校長等實務上的參考及未來研究的基礎。 Education lays the foundation of a nation’s development. It’s also a Project Hope of 21th century. Advanced countries eagerly bring forward the blueprints of educational reforms, with a view to enhancing the effectiveness of schooling. Above all, the leadership of a principal plays a crucial role of the success of a school. This study aims to find out the influence of transformational leadership of a principal and a school’s brand image on a school’s effectiveness. And a school’s brand image as an intervening variables has a mediating effect on the transformational leadership of a principal. The study is based on a survey on the principals, directors, sectors and teachers of public and private high schools and vocational high schools located in north, center, south of Taiwan as well as Kinmen area. 716 questionnaires were issued with 634 returning. The recovery ratio is 89%. Through exploratory factor analysis, Pearson relative analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis as well as other analyses, we reach four points in the following: I. There is a marked positive impact of a principal’s transformational leadership on school effectiveness.II. There is a positive impact of a principal’s transformational leadership on a school’s brand image.III. There is a positive impact of a school’s image on a school’s effectiveness. IV. There is a partial mediating effect of a school’s brand image on a principal’s transformational leadership and a school’s effectiveness. The study shows that the better the transformational leadership of a principal is, the higher a school’s effectiveness becomes. The brand image of a school is an intangible asset of a school.The better a school’s brand image is, the better a school’s effectiveness becomes. However, a school’s brand image only possesses a mediating effect, which highlights the important effect of transformational leadership of a principal on a school’s effectiveness. To sum up, this study is intended to offer information for the references of educational authorities, school’s principals and prospective researchers as well.
