Summary:	在二十一世紀，遠洋鮪釣漁船面臨高油價、基本勞動力不足以及備受區域性國際漁業管理組織的規範等經營困境。本研究採取與5位南大西洋鮪釣漁船現行業者進行深度訪談，利用SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) 分析，提供業者們如何有效經營鮪釣漁船的策略以及建議。SWOT矩陣策略分析顯示：1. SO: Maxi-Maxi策略：我國在國際上仍具有競爭力，船隊的經營優勢、專業的管理人、完善的供應鏈以及自動化設備。2. ST: Maxi-Mini：配合政府與國際組織的協議，積極培養外籍船員為幹部。3.WO: Mini-Maxi策略：在船隻和產能減少之下，魚價調漲，利用同盟合作，以量制價方式，和供應商購買必需之物資、燃料以及機械設備維修等，以降低成本支出。4. WT: Mini-Mini：精簡船隊、開拓新的售魚市場以及維持我國遠洋漁業良好形象、爭取配額以及保持競爭力。 In the 21st century, distant water tuna logline fishing vessels are facing the difficulties with high fuel price, lacking of labor and limitations from the regulations of Regional Fisheries Management Organizations (RFMOs). This research was based on the in-depth interview with five current South Atlantic tuna fishing vessel owners, by applying the SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) analysis to provide these owners strategies and suggestions in how to operate tuna fishing vessels effectively.SWOT analysis matrix shows: 1. SO Maxi-Maxi strategies: Taiwanese longline tuna fishing vessels are competitive internationally with the strengths of fishing fleet, professional supervisors and automatic fishing system. 2. ST: Maxi-Mini strategies: cooperate the agreement signed between the government and RFMOs, train new foreign crew members to the higher rankings and make good use of automatic fishing system to reduce labor cost. 3. WO: Mini-Maxi strategies：With the decreasing of vessels and production, fish prices have increased; alliance cooperates to reduce costs by group buying shipping supplies, fuel and machinery repairs etc. 4. WT: Mini-Mini：Simplify fishing fleet, develop new fish market and maintain positive image for our deep sea fishery, strive for fish quota and be competitive.
