目的:從背景因素、生活狀況瞭解大學生睡眠品質的現況,並探討其對學業成就及生活壓力的影響。方法:以國立高雄大學99 學年度全校學生為母體,並以年級、系級為單位,利用隨機抽樣法選取受測對象,總計發出732份問卷,有效問卷為682份,有效比率達93.16%,採用「匹茲堡睡眠品質量表」進行問卷調查,評量項目分為個人背景及生活狀況兩大類。將所得資料以描述統計、卡方檢定、交叉分析、獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析、Φ相關分析、點二系列相關分析、皮爾森積差相關分析以及多元逐步迴歸分析處理。結果:不同背景變項之大學生在生活狀況、睡眠品質、生活壓力與學業成就確實有部分差異,且大學生背景變項、生活狀況、睡眠品質、生活壓力與學業成就彼此有關係存在,背景變項的「性別、年齡、系別、學院」與生活狀況變項有正向關係,而背景變項的「學院、系別」則與睡眠品質有負向關係,且背景變項的「年級、年齡、性別」與學業成就滿意度有正向關係。大學生有無瞌睡經驗、有無噪音干擾自我睡眠以及是否因自由時間規劃不當而造成睡覺時間延遲,預測整體睡眠品質效果最好,課業壓力預測整體學業成就、課業滿意度或學業成績表現的效果最大。結論:大學生睡眠品質確有不佳的情形,同時個人背景變項與生活狀況的不同會影響到睡眠品質優劣,此又會直接或間接經由生活壓力影響學業成就高低。在預測變項上,睡眠習慣、噪音干擾、自由時間規劃能有效解釋睡眠品質,同時睡眠品質亦能有效解釋學業成就。因此透過覺察個人背景可能對睡眠的影響,以及適時調整生活狀況改善睡眠品質,便能提高學習時的認知能力,有助於學業成就的提升。 Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand the sleep quality of the university students from background factors and life situation, and probe into the influence of studies achievement and life stress. Methods: The subjects of this study were taken from the entire students of National University of Kaohsiung in the academic year of 2010 by using random sampling. Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) was adopted to conduct a questionnaire survey. The questionnaires were 732 in all; the valid questionnaires were 682; and a ratio validity was 93.16%. The evaluation items were grouped into two types, personal background and life situation. The data were processed by descriptive statistics, chi-square test, cross-analysis, independent-samples T test, one-way analysis of variance, phi correlation, point-biserial correlation, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple regression. Results: Partial differences did exsit in life situation, sleep quality, life stress and studies achievement of the university students in different background variables which were also related to life situation, sleep quality, life stress and studies achievement. Gender, age, department, and college in background variables had positive correlation with life situation variables; college and department in background variables had negative correlation with sleep quality; grade, age, and gender in background variables had positive correlation with academic achievement. The following variables predicted whether the university student had the best effect of overall sleep: (1) Whether the university students had an experience of a doze? (2) Whether the noise interfered the personal sleep situation of the university students? (3) Whether the inadequate planning for leisure time caused the delay of sleep time? Moreover, academic achievement, academic satisfaction, and academic performance had the most influence in academic stress prediction. Conclusions: The result indicated that the sleep quality of university students was definitely not good. The differences of personal background and life situation indeed influenced the sleep quality, and they influenced academic achievement through life stress directly or indirectly. The possible influence on sleep quality can be observed through personal background. Adjusting life situation timely can improve sleep quality, promote the cognitive ability and academic achievement.
