玩線上遊戲已成為台灣時下青少年最普遍的休閒活動之一,但若過度沉迷於其中將可能對青少年的身心健康產生嚴重威脅。因此,了解線上遊戲成癮的本質、針對成癮者發展治療與輔導策略,以及評估策略的成效都是重要的議題。本研究的目的在評估團體輔導的介入對線上遊戲成癮之高風險學生的影響。以橋頭國中二年級的學生為研究對象,自編之「強制性線上遊戲使用」量表為測量線上遊戲成癮嚴重性的工具。本研究針對線上遊戲成癮之高風險學生施予為期十週的團體輔導課程介入,以預實驗設計中的單組前後測設計進行資料收集,並以無母數Wilcoxon符號等級檢定,藉以分析團體輔導對改善強迫性線上遊戲使用的成效。研究結果顯示,團體輔導課程介入後,線上遊戲成癮的高風險學生在強制性線上遊戲使用上的「戒斷症狀」、「調節情緒」、「線上遊戲重要性」、「忽略生活與學業」等四向度的表現皆比介入前有顯著的改善。本研究結果提供家長、教師及教育相關單位在處理國中學生強制性線上遊戲使用時,俾便能進行更有效的引導與介入。 Playing online games has become the most common leisure activity among adolescents in Taiwan. However, excessive gaming may pose a serious threat to physical and psychological health. As a result, understand the nature of online gaming addiction, develop therapy and counseling strategies for addicts, and evaluate the effect of those strategies are all important issues. The purpose of this study was to evaluate effects of group counseling intervention in at high-risk junior-high school students for online game addiction. Eighth grade students at Ciao-Tou junior high school of Kaohsiung City were chosen as research subjects and “Compulsive Online Game Use Scale” developed in this study was used to measure the severity of online game addiction. This study conducted a ten-week intervention of group counseling courses to those who were identified as high-riskers of online game addiction, and employed one-group pretest-posttest design for data collection. Wilcoxon signed-rank test of parametric statistics was used to assess effects of group counseling on reducing compulsive online game use.Results showed significant improvements on "withdrawal symptoms", "emotional control", " salience of online game", and "ignorance of the daily life and school work" dimensions of compulsive online game use for those students who are at high-risk for online game addiction after implementing the intervention of group counseling course. The results of this study intend to provide effective guidance and intervention for parents, teachers, and educational authorities to deal with the problems of excessive online game use among junior high school students.
