TPM於1980年代稱為全面生產保養(Total Productive Maintenance),TPM以生產設備為改善核心,持續進行內部改善活動,提升人員能力與設備總和效率,進而提升公司之競爭優勢,近年來在日本設備維護協會的推廣之下,以推行至全世界,並於1990年代後成為全公司的經營改善活動,通稱為全面生產管理 (Total Productive Management, TPM)。 企業導入TPM雖然可以帶來相當多績效,而在企業組織內,員工對於公司及工作的認知價值與滿意度是促使員工發揮最大效能的因素。因此,如何善用組織的員工,正是企業需要認真思考的地方,良好的人力資源管理不僅可讓組織擁有競爭生存的機會,更可使組織持續成長、增加獲利及永續經營。然而,如何使員工在工作上有所表現,充分發揮個人的能力,實為企業在人力資源管理上的重要課題。 本研究以工具機產業T公司為例,探討個案公司導入TPM對於員工價值的影響,並在全體主管與員工不斷努力使其工作方式與能力不斷改變與提升,進而使公司內部績效提升,並應用問卷調查法,瞭解員工於公司執行TPM活動下對自我能力與自我價值之提升。 研究結果發現,T公司導入TPM後,員工對於TPM八大支柱的認知程度有顯著地提升;且TPM八大支柱的認知程度對於員工價值的提升也具有正向影響,這也隱含著TPM的導入確實對於企業內部績效會帶來正面的效益。 TPM was known as Total Productive Maintenance in the 1980s and produced equipment as its improvement core. With constant internal improvement activities and enhancement of human capacity and overall equipment effectiveness, the company’s competitive advantages was thus boosted. In recent years, under the promotion of Japanese Equipment Maintenance Association, it has been implemented in the world and became a company-wide business improvement activity in the 1990s, known as Total Productive Management (TPM).Although companies can bring considerable performance by importing TPM, employees’ perceived value and satisfaction toward the company and work are the factors motivating employees to maximize their performance in the organizations. Therefore, what the companies need to seriously think about is how to make good use of employees. Good human resource management not only enables organizations to have the opportunity to compete for survival, but also allows organizations to continue to grow, to increase profitability and to operate sustainably. However, how to enable employees to show their ability at work and give full play to individual ability is really an important issue for companies in human resource management.Taking the T-Company in machine tool industry as an example, this study investigated the impact of TPM implementation by case company on employee value; all officers and employees constantly strive to change and upgrade their working mode and ability, thereby improving the company’s internal performance. Moreover, questionnaire survey was also applied to understand how employees enhanced their abilities and self-value under the company performance of TPM activities. The results shows that employees’ cognitive degree toward TPM’s eight pillars has been significantly improved after T-Company implementing TPM and the cognitive degree toward TPM’s eight pillars also has a positive impact on the improvement of employee value, which also implied that TPM implementation will surely bring positive benefits for a company’s internal performance.
