    摘要註: 在本研究中,我們利用固態反應法(solid-state reaction method)製備一系列六方結構的YMn1-xCrxO3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.1)和Y1-xYbxMnO3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1)塊材樣品,並觀察其微觀結構與磁性質,以探討摻雜Cr和Yb離子取代YMnO3中的Mn離子對其磁性質的影響。 樣品的微觀結構是以X光繞射(X-ray diffraction)儀來進行分析,而樣品的磁性質則利用超導量子干涉磁化儀(Superconducting Quantum Interference Device, SQUID)量測之。我們從X-ray粉末繞射分析發現所有的YMn1-xCrxO3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.1) 和Y1-x YbxMnO3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1)樣品皆為六方結構,而隨著Cr和Yb含量的增加,樣品的晶格常數a與c皆逐漸減小。另外,我們發現隨著Cr摻雜濃度的增加,樣品的居禮外斯溫度(Curie-Weiss temperature)由-509K (x = 0) 提升至-111K (x = 0.1)。同時,Cr摻雜的YMnO3樣品在20 K處存在一轉變溫度,稱為凍結溫度(Tf),此乃顯示樣品具有自旋玻璃(spin glass)之特性。從交流磁化率隨溫度變化之關係,我們觀察到Cr摻雜的YMnO3樣品之凍結溫度隨著頻率增加而往高溫處移動,這表示樣品具有磁化鬆弛的現象,也證實樣品具有自旋玻璃的特性。 In this study, we prepared two series of hexagonal YMn1-xCrxO3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.1) and Y1-xYbxMnO3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1) samples by solid-state reaction method. Owing to study the effect of the substitution of Manganese (Mn) ions by Chromium (Cr) or Ytterbium (Yb) on the magnetic properties of YMnO3; we measured their microstructure and magnetic properties. The crystalline structures of samples were examined by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The magnetization measurements were carried out using the Superconducting Quantum Interference Device (SQUID) magnetometer. From the results of XRD patterns, all the YMn1-xCrxO3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.1) and Y1-xYbxMnO3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1) samples are hexagonal structure. Both a and c lattice parameters decrease with Cr or Yb substitution. In addition, the increasing of Cr-content raises the Curie-Weiss temperature of the samples from -509K (x=0) to -111K (x=0.1). Meanwhile there is a transition temperature at 20K of Cr-doped YMnO3, called freezing temperature (Tf), showed that the samples have spin glass properties. From the relationship between the ac magnetic susceptibility and the temperature, we observed the freezing temperature of Cr-doped YMnO3 shift to high temperature with increasing frequency. It showed that the samples have magnetization relaxation, and also proved they have spin glass properties.
