摘要註:	駁二藝術特區從過去的經濟生產空間到面臨閒置空間的窘境,再因閒置空間再利用的注入,如今蛻變成歷史文化與藝文活動的展演空間,是高雄文化創意產業發展的基地,更是民眾最重要的休閒空間。其轉變過程中,受到許多不同力量之作用與影響所建構出來的藝術特區,空間性質的再轉變,使得此空間重新被賦予新的意涵。本研究從閒置空間再利用與文化創意產業此兩個層面出發,利用文獻研究法、田野調查、參與觀察與深入訪談方式,加以分析與了解駁二藝術特區的發展歷程與意義,從中尋找形塑的因素與力量。駁二藝術特區是隨著時間的演變、政經結構與社會脈絡等因素發生變化時,做為調整與滿足社會生活的需要,此一過程更加凸顯出駁二藝術特區所在地方的歷史性、特殊性與獨特性,讓曾經裝載貨物的倉庫碼頭充滿了人文藝術氣息,不僅延續了歷史記憶更塑造出具有文化價值的休閒空間。 In the past, The Pier-2 Art Center was a space of economic production and faced a dilemma of vacant space. Because of reusing of vacant space, The Pier-2 Art Center becomes a space to show historical culture and art cultural activities now. It's not only a base of development of the Cultural and Creative Industries in Kaohsiung, but also an important leisure space for citizens. During the changing process, it faces very external power and impact to generate an art center. Transfer of space makes The Pier-2 Art Center is conferred new meanings. This research discusses reusing of vacant space and Cultural and Creative Industries. We utilize literature review, field research, participant observation and in-depth interview to analyze and realize the development of The Pier-2 Art Center. We use above research way to find the modeling of factors and strength. The Pier-2 Art Center changes with time, politics, economic and society. It becomes to adjust and meet society's need. The process will highlight its history, distinctness and peculiarity. Warehouses which ever stored goods is glutted with rich humanism atmosphere now. It not only continues history, but also provides a leisure space containing historical and cultural value.
