The world order is evolving toward polycentricity, producing its winners and losers, and driving up the global and regional demand for governance, security, justice, and ethics. The book offers a perspective of key Russian experts in international affairs on these transformations. On the global level it touches upon the issues of global governance, state transformation, phenomenology of globalization, international security, and international political economy. On the regional level it deals with issues of economic integration, energy security, сyber security, nuclear proliferation viewed from a perspective of Pacific Asia, East Asia, Latin America, Middle East, Post-Soviet Area. Andrey Baykov is Dean in the School of Government and International Affairs at MGIMO, Russia's premier school of international relations. Dr. Baykov is the author of one monograph, 41 scientific papers, 29 publications in journals included in Scopus; co-author of three monographs, more than 10 textbooks and study guides, scientific editor of more than five scientific research papers. Tatiana Shakleina is a well-known specialist in international studies, American and Russian foreign policy, and Russian-American relations. For a long time she worked in a prestigious and well-known think-tank - the Institute of the USA and Canada Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences, where she was the Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Studies.
