夏季高溫炎熱的氣候條件,使建築物屋頂在吸收大量的日射熱之後,再將熱以再輻射回到大氣,導致城市的高溫化,形成都市熱島現象。綠屋頂設計是在建築物屋頂或屋面平台進行大規模植栽綠化,主要動機包括城市綠化與使用綠屋頂來幫助城市降溫,對抗都市熱島效應,藉以改善在都市環境中愈來愈惡化的都市氣候與空氣品質。在綠屋頂隔熱降溫性能方面的研究,幾乎都是以綠屋頂植栽層與室內空間為研究對象。對於覆土層土壤溫度部分,並無完整而且有系統的研究,也就無明確數據可用來說明覆土層土壤中溫度梯度變化的樣態。本研究著重於綠屋頂覆土層土壤部分在夏季的降溫性能探討,以表土裸露為基礎,配合在其上方增加不同的表面覆蓋物,例如草皮與碎石,研究覆土層內土壤溫度變化,以及覆蓋物降溫的熱效應。本研究成果歸納如下:一、在綠屋頂覆土時,只要土壤深度有20cm就能讓土壤溫度維持穩定。二、綠屋頂使用表面覆蓋物時,較佳之土壤厚度如下:(1)種植草皮綠化設計的有效土壤厚度至少是15cm。(2)鋪小碎石材設計之有效土壤厚度至少是10cm。三、覆蓋表面材料的熱效應:(1)以假儉草、台北草、百慕達草來綠化,分別可讓土壤表面溫度降低12.43℃、11.2℃與12.62℃。(2)以彩繪石、白雲石、海石來覆蓋,分別可讓土壤表面溫度降低6.98℃、10.75℃與9.04℃。本研究提出的實驗數據與結論,有助於瞭解綠屋頂不同覆蓋材料降溫的熱效應與其對覆土層土壤溫度變化的影響,讓建築師或景觀建築設計人員做為屋頂綠化設計實務的可用資料,也能提供綠屋頂熱性能後續研究的必要知識與涵蓋面向。 The sweltering climatic conditions in summer make rooftops reradiate heat back to the surroundings after their absorbing and storing lots of solar radiation heat. This type of released heat leads to the phenomenon of high air temperature in cities and creates the effect of urban heat island. The design of green roofs is to cover a roof partially or completely with vegetation and soil. The design motifs of roof greening include city greenery to beautify the cityscape as well as the use of plants to increase wildlife habitat in built-up areas and to help keep temperatures down in a city or to combat the urban heat island effect, so as to improve the getting-worse urban climate and air quality in metropolitan environment.The studies on adding green roofs to help keep roof surface temperatures down are almost focused on the plant layer of a green roof and the indoor space underneath. As for the soil temperature of its earth layer, there is no completed or systematic study. This makes the lack of concrete data or information to elucidate the profile of soil temperature gradient in the earth layer. This research emphasizes on the cooling effect of the earth layer of green roofs in summer. The experiments take the exposed topsoil as the base, combined with diverse surface coverings, such as turf and gravels, to investigate the temperature changes within the earth layer and the cooling effects caused by various surface coverings.The findings of this research are listed below:1. When a roof covered with bare soil, as long as the depth of earth layer is more than 20cm, the soil temperature can be maintained in a stable range.2. When using surface coverings, the better depth of earth layer is as the followings:(1) The effective soil thickness of turf-covering is 15cm at
