摘要註:	當前台灣營造業問題複雜，牽涉範疇甚廣，本研究以宏觀角度，蒐集營造產業相關文獻、經濟發展相關資料，歸納分析整理，並經由專家訪談，尋找台灣營造業發展的問題與機會。研究結論如下：一、營造業是國家整體建設重要一環，也是民生必需工業，亦有永續存在、具有無可替代之特殊性。二、台灣營造業激烈競爭、追求暴利而輕忽品質。各大公司的決策者應有足夠的器度、智慧與決心，秉持健康成熟、永續發展的經營理念，注重長期規劃，培養人才。三、營造廠商應衡諸產業環境與企業條件，導向長期穩定之經營策略，組織規模大小不同之公司應發展更具效率之分工與合作。四、廠房興建、國外發展、綠色建築、環保工程、老屋翻新及都市更新等是未來營造市場發展機會。五、政府應致力推動並挑戰產業升級，建立遊戲規則與監督競爭的誘因、使產業群聚能夠發展與升級、推行積極且長期的經濟活動方案。關鍵詞：營造業、永續發展、經營策略、政府角色。 The construction industry in Taiwan currently appears to have a lot of complex issues. The main purpose of this study is to based on a macro point of view to analyze Taiwan's construction industry development issues and opportunities, through industry-related literature review and expert interviews. The major findings are summarized as follows:First, the construction industry is an important part of the economy, but it’s alsocrucial for people's livelihood.Therefore, it’s necessary that the industry must continue to develop without any substitution.Second, all these years the companies of the industry have faced strong competition in Taiwan. They pursued the higher profits and overlooked the quality of their products. For creating the better environment for this industry, the decision-makers of the major companies should have sufficient wisdom and determination to uphold a sustainable development and nurture talent.Third, the industry should evaluate the industrial environment and business conditions carefully to set up the long-term stability-oriented business strategies. Different sizes of organizations in the industry should find the opportunities to cooperate and offer their own strength in order to gain maximum profit and to survive.Fourth, plant construction, overseas development, green buildings, environmental engineering, old house renovation, and urban renewal will have great opportunities for future development of the industry.Fifth, the government should endeavor to promote and challenge the industrial upgrading, an establishment of rules for the business and monitor the incentive to compete, so that an action plan can be created for the long-term economic development.Keywords : construction industry , sustainable development , business strategy , the role of government.
