    Summary: 警察是社會重要的一環,也同時配合著社會的脈動而發展;同時,警察也扮演著公共領域守護的角色,依政府及法律授權以及全國人民所託付,負有維護社會治安及提供公共服務的重責大任。事實上,工作績效往往都受在職教育訓練的影響,然而,國內對兩者的關聯研究卻並不多見。本研究以此為動機,探討國內警察教育訓練對工作績效的影響。透過分析109份問卷資料,本研究得到如下的結論與建議:(1)大多數受訪者認為,在警察職業教育訓練當中所學習到的知識以及技能能夠充分應用於工作上;(2)受訪者亦認為教育訓練課程以及制度,除應用於工作上以外,相對也提升自我能力;(3) 在工作績效成效評估方面,警察人員出勤服務均有突發狀況,因此任務績效較不認同;(4)本研究建議警察機關應持續實施教育訓練,以強化工作績效,但宜考量如何應付突發狀況,以提昇工作績效。 The police play an important role in society and their growth is in accordance with the social development. They also act as guardians in the public domain with the civil commitment and the legal authorization from the government and the nation, bearing the heavy responsibilities of maintaining social order and the delivery of public services. In fact, vocational education and training often has mutual influence toward job performance. However, the previous domestic studies pay less attention to the related research. In view of this motivation, this study explores the impact of the education and training for the domestic police toward their job performance. Based on 109 valid questionnaires, Research finings are obtained as follows: (1) The majority of participants believe the knowledge and skills learned from the vocational education and training can be completely applied to their job. (2) The participants also consider that the curriculum of education and training system could apply to their job as well as self-ability enhancing. (3) In the aspects of achievement evaluations of job performance, it is the unexpected incidents that would come upon the police while carrying out the duty so that they have less identification with the service performance achievements. (4) This research suggests that the police institution should implement the education and training consecutively to strengthen the job performance. In addition, the management of any job interruption or unexpected incidents should be attended to invigorate job performance.
