本論文主要利用無線感測網路(Wireless Sensor Network, WSN)配合偵測器,搭配警報及監控系統應用於石化業中的試驗工場(Pilot Plant)。因石化業所採用的有線式偵測器鋪設成本高,偵測節點較少,長期需要的電力和維護成本皆偏高,對於非長期量產式的試驗工場來說,工安設施及監控系統之成本與一般石化業的大型量產工廠一樣重要,然而Zigbee有著低速率和功率,架設成本低等優勢,在節點網路鋪設也較靈活應用且可支援多點訊號傳輸,並應用在溫溼度、氣體偵測、警報系統等監控平台,對於災害的預防有很大的幫助。近年來無線網路的使用率越來越普及,將來在許多自動化控制和監控系統也會慢慢朝遠端遙控和感測為主,不僅可節省成本,也可以依照環境來做適時的調整。未來可從居家生活的安全,到個人醫療照顧,或是工業和環境監控等,發展出具有大眾化的監測及控制系統。 The aim of this thesis is to apply WSN (wireless sensor network) and detectors with warning and supervisory system to Pilot Plants of petrochemical industry. The cost of setting up wired detectors in petrochemical industry is high, but with only a handful of detecting nodes. The expenses for both long term electricity and maintenance are also high. For impermanent mass production Pilot plants, the cost for safety measures and supervisory system is vital as well, compared with average mass production factories. However, Zigbee has the advantage of low speed and power requirement and also low installation cost. It's more flexible in laying the network nodes, supports multipoint signal transmission, and can be used in humidity and gas detection, warning system platform etc. WSN is a promising technology to hazard prevention. It is without question that the use of wireless network is an inevitable trend. The automatic control and supervisory system will soon follow suit and emphasize on remote control and detection. Not only can it save the expenses, but also can be adjusted in accordance with the environment. From the safety of household living, personal medical care to industrial and environmental monitoring, the supervisory and control system will take on a crucial role in the near future.
