近年來台灣的物價水準不斷上漲,但大學畢業社會新鮮人之薪資卻反而倒退至15年前的水準,若大學生畢業後又再進修更高一級學歷至碩士課程,則畢業後之社會新鮮人薪資所得是否合乎教育投資報酬預期呢?故本研究欲探討個人教育投資成本與碩士畢業生薪資是否符合投資成本效益。本研究從教育部資訊網站、104人力銀行、行政院主計處收集相關計算數據,運用成本效益法進行分析,並將問題分成四個部分討論之,分別為:一.碩士畢業的社會新鮮人薪資報酬是否符合教育投資成本效益、二.國立與私立碩士畢業的社會新鮮人薪資報酬是否符合教育投資成本效益、三.北中南三個地區碩士畢業的社會新鮮人薪資報酬是否符合教育投資成本效益、四.各學院碩士畢業的社會新鮮人薪資報酬是否符合教育投資成本效益。本研究計算若只考量顯性成本(學雜費、住宿費、書籍費、餐飲費),皆符合成本效益,但若加入隱性成本(工作獲得之薪資)做計算,則本研究得到以下之結果:一.觀察就讀研究所的成本效益,發現就讀研究所付出的成本大於碩士學歷工作兩年可獲得之薪資,顯示念研究所之教育投資不符合成本效益。二.觀察就讀國立或私立研究所的成本效益,發現皆不符合成本效益,皆不符合成本效益的情況下,國立研究所的教育投資效益優於私立研究所。三.觀察就讀北中南三個地區研究所的成本效益,發現就讀北中南國立與私立研究所都不符合成本效益,皆不符合成本效益的情況下,就讀中部國立研究所的教育投資效益最優於就讀北部、南部研究所。四.觀察就讀四個學院的成本效益,發現就讀四個學院都不符合成本效益,皆不符合成本效益的情況下,理工學院研究所的教育投資優於法商、文學院研究所。 In recent years, the salaries of fresh graduates of universities retreats to the level of 15 years ago. Then, if a university graduate furthers studies and promotes his education level by taking master's program, will his salary meet his expectation after graduation from the master's program? The study collected the related calculated data from the information website of the Ministry of Education, 104 Job Bank, and the Directorate-General of Budget. The study used cost-benefit analysis to analyze four issues: 1. Are salaries of fresh graduates of master's programs reasonable? 2. Are salaries of fresh graduates of master's programs of national and private universities reasonable? 3. Are salaries of fresh graduates of master's programs of Northern, Central and Southern Taiwan reasonable? 4. Are salaries of fresh graduates of master's programs of different graduate institutes reasonable? The research conclusions are likely to achieve cost-benefit if only considered explicit cost (tuition、rent、books fee、catering cost), but join implicit cost(income) to consider, the study of four conclusions are drawn: 1.Research is found that the education costs of graduates of master's programs greater than the income by master's degree, showing that taking master's program cannot achieve cost-benefit. 2.Research is found that graduates of master's programs of public or private universities cannot achieve cost-benefit. Under this situation, national universities' education investment are achieved cost-benefit better than private universities. 3.Reserch is found that graduates of master's programs in Northern, Central and Southern Taiwan are unlikely to achieve cost-benefit. Under this situation, The graduates of master’s programs of national universities in Central are achieved education investment better than national universities in Northern, Southern Taiwan. 4.Research is found that national or private master's programs of the four departments cannot achieve cost-benefit. Under this situation, the master's programs of science and engineering achieved education investment better than the master's programs of law and business and art. |
