本研究是利用sol-gel法製備CuYO2粉末,並利用光致螢光光譜技術探討其光學特性。關於成長CuYO2粉末的部分,利用改變退火環境來觀察其成長機制。結果發現:在大氣中退火的樣品之XRD繞射訊號為三元的Cu2Y2O5 晶相,並沒有CuYO2的繞射訊號產生。而在真空中退火的樣品之XRD繞射圖顯示主要為二元的CuO、Y2O3與單獨的Cu原子的晶相之繞射訊號。最後發現,使用兩階段(第一階段在大氣中退火,第二階段在真空中退火)退火的樣品,我們能得到純正的CuYO2結晶粉末,而條件需在第二階段退火溫度為最佳溫度680℃且持溫兩小時。而後,利用光致螢光光譜技術,來觀察CuYO2結晶粉末的光學特性。由光致螢光光譜觀察到發光峰值為2.306eV (538nm)的綠光發光帶。我們認為此發光躍遷之來源為3dz2-4s→4px,y。 We used the sol-gel method to grow CuYO2 powder and the samples were studied by photoluminescence (PL) in this thesis. About sol-gel growth of CuYO2 powder, we changed annealing-atmosphere to observe the growth-mechanism. The XRD signals of the samples annealed in air exhibit only crystalline phase of Cu2Y2O5, and no emergence of CuYO2-phase was found. The powders mainly form binary CuO, Y2O3 and individual Cu atom when the samples were annealed in vacuum. Therefore, we attempted a two-step annealing method (first-step annealing in air, second-step annealing in vacuum) to obtain CuYO2. The optimum conditions at the second-step annealing are temperature of 680℃ and duration of 2 hours. Finally, we examine the optical properties of CuYO2 sample-powder by PL measurement. We observed a green emission band with peak at 2.306 eV (538 nm). We believe that the emission band observed in our study is likely due to intrinsic transition originated from 3dz2-4s→4px,y.
