Summary:	多處於線性思考的我們，習慣性的漠視聚落在地經驗的消失與既存空間產生質變的狀況，這顯示出在空間設計之外並沒真正的觀察到及關懷聚落空間的脈動，計畫性的表象操作與成效，是完全無法解釋聚落空間發展之非計畫性特質；而對空間氛圍的忽略更是導致聚落場所性的消失。然而，在環境已然改變的前提下，回歸原有聚落地方感的追求，容易陷入一種直覺式的操作而忽略了空間真真正的需求。— 更由於現今社會的快速變遷，傳統聚落不論在空間或活動上，皆面臨了巨大的衝擊，空間與活動的變化與消失，使得舊有聚落之空間氛圍亦逐漸地消失；再者由於社會背景的關係，在機能取向下亦使得生活環境逐漸失去以往的空間特色，如此情況下人們開始重視原有的空間特色以及生活品質。然而在如此回歸原有空間氣氛的追求下，容易忽略現今環境已然改變的事實，直接套用種種計畫及設計的方法；因此本研究嘗試藉由聚落場所性及非計畫性的探討，以期彰顯出聚落生活及空間其實是許多因素環環相扣的，並非完全可以由實體的建築手法所能代表及操作，而聚落空間觀察的方式及其構成對於聚落空間設計品質的發顯更有其重要性。研究內容共分為四個部份：一、文獻回顧：此部分先藉由相關學者的思想建構，了解場所空間的探討方向，並整理國內聚落相關研究論文，以了解所欲探討之內容；並藉由相關研究論文之類型，決定本論文研究方向。二、理論建構與探討：以場所相關研究之探討內容，得知實質環境與感知環境對於場所氛圍形成的重要；兩者的關係也在主體與客體上，形成了場所氛圍在體驗上的多元性，藉由在本質的探討中，帶出場所空間中場所性與非計畫所衍生的內涵，並進而產生對聚落空間的觀察態度。三、實際空間觀察：以五溝水聚落為探討對象，觀察其實質空閒環境、人文活動、以及整體之視覺意象的發顯；在觀察空間與活動的關係中，進而思考場所構成元素對於人所產生的感受性。四、場所性及非計畫性之檢視：以聚落觀察經驗為基礎，嘗試檢視空間自明性的強弱及非計畫性和場所性的探討，而後建立一種觀察的態度，做為空間專業者操作空間的反省，並組織出一個新的聚落漫遊經驗，讓一般人藉此成果體會並觀察出屬於各聚落的有趣現象及生命力。 People like us who are used to think in a linear way tend to ignore the disappearance of local experience of settlements and situation of qualitative changes from existed space. This shows that the variation of settlement space has not been truely observed and cared except for space design. The operation and effects of planned phenomenon can not explain the non-planned characteristics of development of settlement space completely. Moreover, the ignorance of stmoaphere will even cause the disappearance of settlements’ meaning of place. However, under the premis of environmental changes, people tend to go back to persue the local sense of settlements. It is easy to fall in an instinctive operation and ignore the real necessities of space. Due to the quick transition in today’s modern world, the traditional settlements have faced a huge impact in whether space or in activities. The changes and disappearance of space and activities make the atmosphere of space of traditional settlements disappear gradually. Moreover, our living environment tends to lose its spacial characteristic as usual since it becomes function-guided recently because of the social backgrounds. Under this circumstance, people begin to put an emphasis on original spacial characteristic and
