Summary:	網際網路快速的發展，電訊頻率承載寬度不斷地擴大，免費網路電話時代將隨之來臨；以IP為基礎的無線接取技術不斷地推陳出新，新型並結合網際網路應用的IP交換機大量取代傳統PBX交換機，將成為必然的趨勢。因此，IP PBX勢必成為未來溝通的主要工具，其導入、運作和使用前後成效之評比，是每一個著重效率與競爭力的企業所關注的議題。本論文透過個案研究方法，以A公司為研究對象，透過深度訪談，探討原傳統語音通話系統之運用及困難點，決定投資IP PBX之導入、運作程序、導入後的成效、以及未來可以擴增的功能，研究成果可以提供給企業和相關產業做為參考。研究發現及建議如下：(一)由於 IP PBX 採用開放式 IP 架構，運作階段要有(1)安全控管，(2) 備援系統策略，(3) 維運管理策略；(二)應使用VPN以提高通話品質及資料安全；(三) 成效方面： (1) 全省各據點間撥號簡易化及功能透通，至少達成通訊效益提升25%以上，(2) 由總公司集中管控各據點通話，進而有效管控外撥私人電話，達成公務外之10 %再節費；(四) 可再發展的特殊應用有：(1)隨身分機，(2)話機網頁瀏覽，(3)訊息整合，(4)多媒體協同作業。 With the rapid development and wider bandwidth of information and communication technology (ICT), near free telephone era will be coming soon. The advanced IP-based wireless connection techniques are also extensively introduced in the modern ICT environment, and in consequence making it possible to promptly replace traditional PBX with IP switch. For this, the IP PBX will become one of the most important communication tools in the near future. Therefore, its implementation, operation, performance, as well as extension are the key issues that an enterprise has to deal with to better run business and reduce cost. To examine these issues, this thesis conducts a case study where top managers of the A case company is interviewed. Research findings indicate that: (1) The operations should contain three stages due to that IP PBX is an open-loop IP architecture: (a) security control, (b) back-up system, and (c) maintenance; (2) The IP PBX should adopt VPN to enhance voice quality and data security, (3) Performance: (a) at least more than 25 % benefit because of the simplified dials and functions, (b) there is 10% cost down because of the central control of non-business dials; (4) IP PBX extensions: (a) mobile telephone extension, (b) Web browsing on phone set, (c) message integration, and (d) multimedia-enriched collaborative operations.
