Summary:
很多文化資產沒有透過市場交易,因此沒有市場價值。不過這些文化資產是有其使用價值與非使用價值。我們統稱為文化資產的經濟價值。過去文獻通常以旅遊成本法、特徵價格法、以及條件評估法來估計文化資產的經濟價值。本研究選定高雄市蓮池潭周邊與舊城做為文化資產案例,然後嘗試評估其經濟價值。我們先是利用旅遊成本法以及特徵價格法來估計蓮池潭周邊的使用價值(或遊憩價值),然後再利用條件評估法來估計舊城的非使用價值(或文化保存價值)。我們估計出來拜訪蓮池潭周邊一次的邊際價值(或邊際遊憩價值)大約介於 72 與 242 元之間。另外,我們估計出來的舊城保存價值為 319 元/人。 Many culture assets are not transacted in the markets, so they do not have the marketvalues. However, these culture assets do have economic values including both use values andnon-use values. Previous literature usually employs travel cost method, hedonic price method,and contingent valuation method to evaluate economic values of culture assets. This thesischooses Kaohsiung Lotus Pond and Jiucheng area as the culture asset case and then tries toevaluate their economic values. We firstly adopt both travel cost method and hedonic pricemethod to evaluate the use values (travel and leisure values) of Lotus Pond. We then adoptcontingent valuation method to evaluate the non-use values (preservation values) of Jiucheng(old town). We find the marginal use value (travel and leisure values) from additional visit toKaohsiung Lotus Pond is estimated to be ranged from 72 dollars to 242 dollars. Moreover, wefind the non-use value (preservation value) of Jiucheng is estimated to be 319 dollars perperson.
