    Summary: 近幾年來,嵌入式系統應用層級的擴展與可攜式設備的普及化,如智慧型手機、智慧(Artificial Intelligence;AI)家電、車用衛星導航,其應用及需求逐年的增加。為了能讓使用者在使用介面的操作上能夠更加地簡易方便,作業系統的速度需要更快速、支援的硬體種類也需要多樣化,加上硬體製程技術的提升,使得硬體趨向輕薄,連帶整個使用介面的習慣也跟著改變、演進,如觸控式面版。在未來,這樣的趨勢會更加地明顯重要。所以,嵌入式系統(Embedded System)的軟硬體整合也將會是所需要學習的重要課題之ㄧ。一般說來,嵌入式系統不同於一般的個人電腦(Personal Computer; PC)系統,系統本身的資源有限且執行條件較為嚴苛,這使得使用者在開發的過程中,必須依賴相關的開發及除錯工具,來降低開發的門檻及縮短所需的時間。很不幸的,相關開發工具的價格就會變得十分昂貴。本論文設想如何以容易取得免費軟體的方式來發展較低的成本的除錯工具,所以本文主要會利用開放原始碼(Open Source)的資源及JTAG 介面,來開發除錯工具。 In recent years, the embedded system has expanded the levels of application and popularization of portable apparatus, such as intelligent mobile phone, artificial intelligent home appliances, and automobile-used satellite navigate. Its application and demand increase year by year. In order to let the user interface can be operated more simply and conveniently, the speed of operating system must be fast and the supporting hardware must be kind and diversified. In addition to improving the process capability of the hardware system, the hardware component and user interface device tend to be light, thin and flexible with the evolution, and therefore, change user’s habits of accessing user interface, such as touch panel. In future, such a trend will obviously important so that it’s a major subject to combine with software and hardware for embedded system and needs to be learned.Generally speaking, the embedded system is different from the general personal computer system. The embedded system has limited resources and its implementation condition is harsh. This makes user must rely on relevant developing and debugging tools while developing application software program. Debugging tools can lower development threshold and shorten the developing time. Unfortunately, the prices of developing tools are very expensive.This thesis proposes a methodology to develop lower cost debugging tools by easily accessing freeware. In this thesis, we describe how to develop debugging tools by using open source’s code and JTAG access interface.
