Summary:
本論文主要是探討利用雙環形光纖雷射架構分別以兩個不同波長的光纖光柵形成兩個環型光纖迴路,當兩光纖迴路的光柵波長調到一致時,會得到兩光纖迴路光訊號同時有放大的效果,我們研究兩光纖迴路之光柵波長的間距對此兩光纖迴路之光強度的影響,並利用於光纖光柵信號感測系統。另外、我們也在其中一光纖迴路加入一聲光調制器的控制,發現當聲光調制信號達到一頻率範圍時,兩環型光纖迴路會達到光共振及鎖模的現象,當其中之一光纖光柵受到外部應力影響時,會產生光信號大幅的變化,以這種架構可作為新型光纖感測訊號傳遞距離可以增加。 In this thesis, we demonstrated a resonance amplification in a double-ring fiber laser system when the Bragg’s wavelength of these two fiber Bragg gratings in each fiber loop coincided. Measurements had been done to characterize the dependence of the amplification of the light output from each fiber loop on the variations of the Bragg’s wavelength between two fiber Bragg gratings, amplification factor can reach higher than 3 dBm and it is valuable in fiber sensing application. In addition, an AO modulator was used in one fiber loop and tuned the frequency for reaching the mode locking operation, at this status, mode locking at the second fiber loop can be excited and the output power in fiber ring can be enhanced higher for long distance fiber sensing application.
