Summary:	本文旨在分析學校措施對於國小學童體重的影響，以「2001-2002年台灣國小學童營養健康狀況調查」之六歲至十二歲學童為研究對象，利用Probit模型及OLS模型探討在控制學童個人及家庭因素之下，學校在體育方面、飲食方面及健康教育方面的作為分別對於學童體位的影響。發現在諸多學校作為中，僅有體育館的提供及班級數有顯著的影響。另外，若將學童個人及家庭因素、學校體育、飲食及健康教育方面等一併納入考量，則在體育方面的影響程度有增加的情形。 This paper is to investigate the impacts of school policies on elementary school children’s obesity problem. We use data regarding elementary-school children from the Nutrition and Health Survey in Taiwan during 2001-2002. We employ Probit and OLS model to estimate the marginal effects of school policies such as improving physical education, regulating food and drink provided in school, and improving health education on several measures of children obesity. We find that most policies, except building a gym and total number of classes, have insignificant effects when those three kinds of school policies are considered separately. We find policies regarding physical education to have more significant effects when all three kinds of policies are examined simultaneously.
