    摘要註: 目前承載帶業界大部分使用材料為甲基丙烯酸甲酯-丁二烯-苯乙烯之三元共聚物(methylmethacrylate-butadiene-styrene tripolymer, MBS)。此三元共聚物是剛性與韌性皆佳的材料(依照ASTM D638分析,此三元共聚物modulus:34800 kgf/cm2、toughness:300 kgf-cm),此材料目前國內並無廠商製造,所以主要依賴國外進口且價格昂貴。本研究使用通用級聚苯乙烯(GPPS)、耐衝擊級聚苯乙烯(HIPS)、苯乙烯-丁二烯共聚物(SBC)之材料,藉由配方設計出SBC/GPPS/HIPS = 60/30/10, 60/20/20, 60/35/5, 50/30/20, 65/30/5, 70/20/10, 50/40/10等配方比例,再以單螺桿押出機摻合方式將SBC、GPPS、HIPS混練成單一材料。利用微差掃描熱卡計、萬能拉力試驗機、穿透式電子顯微鏡之儀器分析材料。本研究發現當 SBC(60%)含量固定時,GPPS 添加量30%時會有最高的材料剛性。藉由穿透式電子顯微鏡觀察得知,聚合物 HIPS 之核殼式橡膠粒間平均距離1.0 µm 時,材料剛性會降低。以上實驗配方以SBC/GPPS/HIPS = 60/30/10之材料剛性與韌性(依照ASTM D638分析,modulus:34500 kgf/cm2、toughness:290 kgf-cm)與MBS三元共聚物最為接近。 Most of the carrier tapes used currently by the industry are made of the tripolymer of methylmethacrylate, butadiene, and styrene (MBS). This MBS is fairly good in both modulus and toughness (modulus: 34800 kgf/cm2, toughness: 300 kgf-cm according to ASTM D638) but has no local supplier and is expensive. In this study, we thus investigate a substitute for MBS using a mixture of GPPS, HIPS, and SBC formulated with SBC/GPPS/HIPS weight ratios of 60/30/10, 60/20/20, 60/35/5, 50/30/20, 65/30/5, 70/20/10, and 50/40/10 by a single screw extruder. Differential scanning calorimeter, universal test machine, and transmission electron microscopy were used for the characterizations. Experimental results found that when SBC at 60 %, the modulus can be maximized by a 30 % addition of GPPS. TEM images found that a decreased modulus was obtained when the average distance between the core-shell type of HIPS particles in the blend was 1.0 µm apart. The formulation of SBC/GPPS/HIPS = 60/30/10 was found to produce a substitute with modulus and toughness (modulus: 34500 kgf/cm2, toughness: 290 kgf-cm) the closest to those for MBS.
