摘要註:	本文延伸Hwang & Mai (1990)的啞鈴模型，考量雙占廠商產能限制的條件，研究雙占廠商在合作與Cournot競爭下，最適區位選擇與社會福利之比較。研究結果顯示兩家廠商會聚集在同一市場或是各自在兩市場設廠，取決於兩邊市場大小以及廠商彼此間產能的差異。而在某些條件下，合作下之社會福利會高於非合作下之社會福利，與傳統產業經濟文獻合作會降低社會福利有所不同，也代表新的政策意涵。 This paper extends Hwang & Mai (1990) with capacity constraints to discuss the optimal location choice of oligopolistic firms and compare the social welfare under cooperation and non-cooperation. It is shown that the firms will aggregate at the same market or separately locate at the two markets. In some conditions, the social welfare under cooperation is higher than non-cooperation. It's different to the previous literatures that said cooperation will lower the social welfare. It's also give a new implication of policy.
