    Summary: 本論文主要探討雙輸出環形半導體雷射的輸出特性以及相關製程,內容主要將所量測環型共振腔經Y型耦合輸出端的光譜以及L-I的特性做分析,發現光譜具有單模態以及多模態的合成現象,分別從環型共振腔以及U型共振腔來產生,發現CW和CCW端光譜峰值落在不同的波長,我們建立一單環加U型共振腔的理論模型來解釋實驗結果,推測不同模態是由不同的共振腔的雷射輸出,另外,我們也詳細探討經過U型共振腔的雷射模態。 In this thesis we demonstrate the fabrication of a circular ring laser device with two Y-junction output couplers, and its output characteristics. It was found that the laser output of the ring laser structure was the combined laser emission of the circular ring resonator and the U-shape linear resonator which of single mode and multi-modes output spectrum characteristics. It shows that the high threshold U-shape resonator can be boosted by the lasing emission from the circular ring resonator. Light-current characteristics and spectrum analysis were used to reveal the mechanism of lasing. In addition, a modified model based on the hybrid of circular ring and U-shape linear resonators were examined by experimental results.
