Consideration is also given to an attempt to justify fur farming through the concept of "Welfur." Andrew Linzey and Clair Linzey argue that from any ethical perspective, fur factory farming fails basic moral tests. Andrew Linzey is Director of the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics, and has been a member of the Faculty of Theology in the University of Oxford for 28 years.
