All of the information is referenced. The book also shows all of the fish sampling sites, briefly describes the history of fish sampling and identification in the Dakotas, and mentions the prominent individuals. This is the first book of its kind - the first comprehensive compilation describing every fish found in the Dakotas with all of the supplemental information.
