Summary:	<約翰柯川與強尼哈特曼>專輯是繼先前柯川灌錄的「抒情名演輯」之後,又一張精彩無比的抒情錄音。哈特曼的歌唱相當沉穩,略帶藍調的歌聲中呈現一股異常的浪漫風格。有時候,他的演唱被認為是酷派的一種表現型式。不過忠於自己原味的演唱,即使不曾受到時尚的青睞,也不會因此而減少自我的要求。從另一方面而言,兩人唯一的合作中卻展現了令人驚異的即與搭配。為哈特曼伴奏是約翰柯川當時的四重奏樂團,不過柯川的巧妙穿透力與浪漫的歌聲形成了相當溫和的結果。全部六首歌曲中"My One & Only Love"、"Lush Life"和"They Say It's Wonderful"等曲調,各自有不同的溫柔風貌,絕對是值得推薦的錄音。
