Summary:	本文主旨探討何謂「臺灣意識」的思想內涵，及在「臺灣意識」之發展下，對於戰後的臺灣政治發展造成何種影響。主軸以臺灣民族主義的角度切入，分析在不同的歷史脈絡及統治政權更迭的背景下，「臺灣意識」受到不同的外在刺激和內在環境所形成的內涵及轉變歷程。作為一種政治意識與政治文化，「臺灣意識」對於戰後臺灣的政治結構變遷深具影響力，並深入研究對於臺灣政治和選舉的作用。並進一步抽繹出政治民主化與政治本土化對於「臺灣意識」所帶來的轉變，另一方面，觀察中國圖象的轉變並解析中國經濟崛起所帶來的牽動，藉以探究中國意識與臺灣意識之間的辯證關係。 The topic of this essay is about the idea of “Taiwanese Identity” and its effect on the development of politics in postwar Taiwan. The main theme is to analyze, in light of Taiwanese Nationalism, how “Taiwanese Identity” are formed and changed under different historical backgrounds and regimes. As an ideology and a feature of political culture, “Taiwanese Identity” has been affecting the structure of postwar Taiwanese politics deeply. We research its effect on Taiwanese Politics and the elections, and point out the role of democratization and localization in the change of “Taiwanese Identity.” Furthermore, we record the transformation of China’s image and analyze dynamics brought by emerging of Chinese Economy so as to dialect between Identity of China and Taiwan.
