Summary:	目前對於瓦作的施作技法相關著書方面大都以屋面形式或中國宮殿式樣建築介紹為大宗，甚少有針對「台灣傳統建築」筒板瓦作方面的探討。而在相關論文部分，大部分探討於灰漿材料性質、防水構造、屋面形制的構成演變等議題。對於瓦作構造的技法與相關禁忌較少有作深入的探討。本研究經由實際案例調查、相關瓦作修護工作告書的分析比對，回應構法程序比對所提出之問題。並進一步提出相關材料、施工上的問題與改善建議。經由本研究對現存瓦作修護過程的技法與材料探討，釐清了建築構法上基本性能需求、材料基本性能需求兩大面向對瓦作建構過程所影響的因子為何，在瓦作構法建構過程中，對於材料、程序、部位構法的相關認知，建立一個可被參考的台灣傳統筒板瓦作構法體系。■研究方法一、蒐集相關瓦作材料之特性以及瓦作構造方面文獻，紀錄瓦作製作過程當中對於瓦材燒製成品所產生的影響因子作出分析歸納。並瞭解目前對於瓦作構造方面的介紹與屋面形式的分類。二、瓦作施作過程訪談與紀錄，對於實際施作的瓦作工項，透過匠師訪談與施工紀錄的方式，探討出瓦作施作過程所表現之技藝與相關禁忌。■研究成果一、古蹟建築瓦作修護構法系統整理。二、筒板瓦作施作流程分類與建立。三、瓦作構法施作時必須注意之狀況之整理。■問題點與建議一、筒板瓦作構法施作之相關依據與判斷必須加以建立定性定量之資料。二、建立苫背層及其它部位黏著材之摻料配比強度試驗。三、可對不同匠派筒板瓦作構法在施作差異性上作比較。 At present, the most publications of the operational techniques of the tiles in market which are mainly written down by the roof forms or aspects of Chinese palace style building that is quite popular, but not for "Taiwan traditional architecture" to the area of cylindrical tile (Panwa). In some related theses, most of the material properties in the mortar, the waterproof structures and the evolution of the composition roof shape are made up to the research. For the construction techniques of such tiles and their prohibition are rarely discussed and analysed.This study is investigated by the real cases, the comparison and analysis in the documenting reports of the tile restoration and the replying problems of the procedure of the construction method. Therefore, bring up the problems and suggestions of the materials and procedures further. This research is about probing the techniques and materials of tile restoration procedure at present, defining the both factors that is affected by the tile construction processing are the essentials and materials function requirements of tile construction method and the related cognitive in materials, processing, partly construction method on tile restoration processing. Thus, establish a system of cylindrical tile and flat tile construction method of traditional architecture in Taiwan that can be referenced.■Methods of Research 1. Collecting some related articles in the materials’ characteristic and the tile structures of the tiles. Recording, analysing and inducting the affecting factors in the production of cylindrical tile and flat tile when processing the tiles. Then, being familiar with the introduction to tile construction and the classification of roof types for the present. 2. By interviewing of craftsmen and recording of contruction processing, to study for technique and taboos related in tile construction progress.■Research Results 1. Systemizing the tile restoration method of monument. 2. Classifying and establishing the construction procedure of cylindrical tile and flat tile. 3. Making up all situations when operating the tile construction method. ■Questions and Suggestions 1. Establishing qualitative and quantitative data, the judgments are based on cylindrical tile and flat tile construction method. 2. Establishing the strength test of ratio in adhesive material on the San-Bei lay and other regions. 3. Comparing the differentiation of cylindrical tile and flat tile construction method in the different craftsmen groups.
