摘要註:	近年來是否能爭取到大型運動會主辦權是各大都市衡量進步的指標之一，其為主辦城市帶來前所未有的都市建設和周邊發展，附加之觀光收入和所製造的工作機會更是為國家和主辦城市注入一股蓬勃的生氣，此外也成功的擦亮了主辦城市的城市品牌和提升主辦國的國家形象。2009 年世界運動會的主辦城市─「高雄」，是台灣第一個舉辦國際級賽事的城市，有關重要運動盛會對主辦城市的各種效應之研究在我國而言仍以短篇論述較多，針對世運所帶來的經濟效益所做之較完整研究仍不多，因此本論文期望能扮演拋磚引玉的作用，期待為未來台灣在舉辦其他國際級的重大賽事時作出建議。本研究將國內外大型賽事的主要成果匯整後，再與2009年高雄世運會的成果作歷史文獻之回顧，並採用波特鑽石理論與SWOT進行分析；進而得到高雄世運會對經濟層面的影響結果；最後再依照國內外成功經驗，針對高雄世運會提出檢討，並為未來高雄承辦大型運動賽事做出建議本研究之結論與建議分為三部分，一為高雄在2009年舉辦世界運動會後在觀光休閒產業的影響，二為高雄在2009年舉辦世界運動會後城市行銷之規劃，三為高雄在2009年舉辦世界運動會後主場館之運用模式如何效益最大化。 Holding sports event not only can bring huge tourism earnings to the host city, but also build strong sense of pride and belongingness among local residents. Sport event possesses multiple influences on economical, social, cultural and physical environment. Since winning the right to host the 2009 World Games in June 2004, Kaohsiung has been making numerous preparations for the big event. The essay is implemented through documentary analysis, SWOT analysis andMichael Porter diamond Model as research method. The data which was comparedwith World Games in Kaohsiung includes “Olympic Games” and “National Athletic Games” collected from the public reports. The research finds that holding Important International Sport Event can actually bring the host city some benefits. However, the operations of Kaohsiung still have toaware of planning of city marketing and tourism, and also the best usage way of the main stadium of Kaohsiung World Games.Kaohsiung should work harder in the future, striving actively for the right to host international event which helps internationalize the city, expand commercial possibilities, and gain people recognition.
