311日本福島核災發生後,核能安全議題備受討論,促使各國對綠色能源問題不容忽視;能源危機與環保意識抬頭,也使得再生能源產業蓬勃發展,尤其以太陽能源受人期待,德國與日本在政策支持下,太陽能市場迅速的擴張至全球。由於產業的迅速成長,各國廠商積極布局,採用各種不同策略或技術,期望在市場上占有一席之地。台灣運用過去面板與半導體產業的卓越成就,利用過去產業經驗進入再生能源業,尤其看好薄膜太陽能電池,因此陸續出現多家業者投入。然而自2011年太陽能產業由於供給端擴張速度過快及歐洲市場的衰退,急轉直下面臨嚴重供過於求危機,需求隨著政府補助快速下砍,供應鏈的退場潮卻被認為是促使未來供需均衡的主要動力之一。隨著環境壓力不斷提升,搖搖欲墜的業者正在不斷增加中。本研究主要探討台灣銅銦鎵硒(CIGS)薄膜太陽能產業關鍵生存因素。比較各種太陽能電池技術之優缺點,再針對個案公司的發展歷程、策略做個案研究,進而以 Michael Porter的鑽石模型理論為分析工具,探究出台灣CIGS薄膜太陽能電池產業在不同時期的關鍵生存因素,本研究發現各期的關鍵生存因素分別為試產研發期的『資金、人才』;成長期的『製程技術、產品認證』;穏定期的『市場需求』。 After the nuclear disaster of Fukushima, the safety of nuclear energy was put onto the table for solemn discussion and the renewable energy topic has been seriously discussed. Energy crisis and environment protection have been two major subjects which result in the development of renewable energy. Among all, solar energy has capture the most attention. By supporting of aggressive energy policies from Germany and Japan, Solar market expanded the scale rapidly. Suppliers aggressively grasp market shares by different strategies and technologies. By the extraordinary growth of semi-conductor and LED panel in the past, Taiwan has been utilizing the experience onto this new industry for the development. Thin-film solar module would be considered as the most inventive technology and players started to join the market.However, the over-supply crisis came to the market since 2011 due to reasons of the irrational expansion, recession of EU market and cut of governmental FiT, The escape from the supply chain was then deemed as the major force to get back the balance of supply and demand. Hence, more and more suppliers are suffering bankrupt by the financial and market pressures. The purpose of this research is to find out key factors of survival for Taiwanese CIGS thin-film solar supply chain. Features of different solar technologies can be revealed by the comparison. The case study of strategies and growths would be done by the analysis tool of diamond model (Michael Porter). The key factors of survival of Taiwanese CIGS thin-film solar supply chain in different stages would be “capital/HR/technology” for pilot run stage, “production process/certification” for growing stage and “market demand” in stable business stage.
