Moving beyond the concept of 'world orders', and arguing that development studies as a discipline is dominated by ahistorical, technocratic and assumed scientific perspectives, Eunice Sahle re-examines colonial concepts and practices that facilitate the reproduction of the North-South power divide, increasing human insecurity in the age of neoliberalism and securitization of development and security.
