摘要註:	2008及2011年台灣政府正式開放大陸旅客來台灣觀光及自由行，促使來台之國際旅客於2013年突破800萬大關並擴張住宿市場需求，大幅帶動旅館業成長。然而，來台旅客因不同目的而影響其下榻飯店之選擇，因此飯店之經營區位則為影響其經營績效之重要因素。此外，隨著需求市場擴張，集團連鎖式的飯店廣設經營據點；有別於一般非連鎖經營之飯店業者，連鎖經營型態及系統多而複雜。因此，飯店經營型態帶來不同之經營資源，更影響其經營績效。本研究欲以台灣旅館產業為目標產業，應用資料包絡分析方法（Data Envelopment Analysis, DEA）之產出面評估台灣觀光旅館的經營效率，並以旅館之經營型態及區位選擇區分，並以無母數檢定分析不同環境因子對旅館業者經營效率之影響。研究結果發現，整體而言，不同型態國際旅館之各項效率的無母數檢定結果顯示位於風景區之飯店業者經營效率平均而言高於非風景區之飯店經營業者；另一方面，連鎖經營之技術效率與純技術效率皆顯著高於非連鎖旅館之經營績效。因此，旅館業者之經營型態與區位選擇為影響經營績效之重要因素。 As Taiwanese government liberates the tourist on China tourist to Taiwan as groups in 2008 and allows independent Chinese tourist to Taiwan in 2013, there were more than 8 million international tourists visited Taiwan in 2013. The increase of tourists drives the demand of accommodation so as the growth of hotel industry. However, tourism purposes usually influence the operation performance of hotels, such as hotels in scenic area and tourist hotels in the north of Taiwan. On the other hand, the operational type, for instance the chain tourist hotel and non-chain tourist hotel, contains different operation resources affecting the performance of tourist hotels. The purpose of this study is to investigate the contribution of environmental factors on the performance of Taiwanese international tourist hotel applying the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and the nonparametric test. The empirical results indicates that given the current input, Taiwanese tourist hotels can improve their technical efficiency by 24.41％, pure technical efficiency by 19.93％, and of scale efficiency by 5.63％, if all tourist hotels operated on their production frontier. The result also shows that the technical efficiency of chain tourist hotels is significant higher than non-chain tourist hotels, yet the hotels in scenic area do not have significant operation performance than tourist hotels in non-scenic area. The geography location reveals an important environment factor influencing the operation performance of Taiwanese tourist hotels. The results of nonparametric test indicates that tourist hotels in north Taiwan has the best performance, hotels in middle area and other area comes after, and tourist hotels in south reveals the last. Therefore, the operational type and location choice significantly impact the operation performance of Taiwanese tourist hotels, yet the selection of scenic area does not have significant influence on it.
