    摘要註: 發光二極體LED(Light-Emitting Diode)的發展已有三十餘年的歷史,由於具有體積小、反映速度快、耐震性佳、省電、壽命長達十萬小時以上,早已被大量使用於家電產業,隨著技術的突破與精進,如今亦已擴及顯像工業、交通號誌、及汽車產業,以及最具發展潛力的一般照明市場。LED一般照明市場列為LED封裝產業最具備成長潛力之領域,本研究將以台灣LED封裝界龍頭-億光電子為例,以文獻探討搭配訪談中國廈門市三家LED照明企業、億光電子及其經銷商,再以五力分析、SWOT模型分析文獻以及訪談資料尋找出LED封裝企業的成功要素。將中國廈門市的LED照明企業作為訪談對象是因為中國廈門市這地區從1988年開始生產電子節能燈,經歷二十餘年的不斷發展,是全球照明高端產品的生產和出口基地,並且是國際前五大品牌的重點代工廠,相對而言具有較高信效度。透過本論文研究可了解到為何LED照明市場上中下游皆有投資過剩的情形,市場的成長空間大只是原因之一。藉由探討台灣LED封裝龍頭企業-億光電子的經營能力了解這項競爭激烈的全球產業有哪些是值得注意的細節。期盼本研究值得作為經營LED封裝產業之參考文獻,對於剛踏入LED封裝領域之銷售人員亦可藉此論文研究之內容加速了解市場狀況。 Through more than 30 years of development, LEDs (Light-Emitting Diodes) have become smaller, more responsive, more durable, and more energy efficient with lifespans exceeding 100,000 hours. Beginning with large-scale applications in home appliances, LED technology then developed and advanced into use in signage, traffic signals, automotive applications, backlighting, and the general lighting. Within the LED component packaging industry, the general lighting market has the highest growth potential. This study discusses current market conditions for the LED component packaging industry, incorporating both document-based research as well as real-life interviews with three LED companies in Xiamen, China, Taiwan-based Everlight Electronics, and various Everlight Electronics distributors. Furthermore, in accordance with literatures such as Porter five forces analysis, SWOT Analysis, and the results of interviews, this study is trying to demonstrate the success factors for LED packaging companies.Xiamen, China was chosen as a focal point of this study because of its history as one of the top three manufacturing bases in China. Beginning with the production of energy efficient bulbs in 1988 and through continuous development over the last 20 years, Xiamen has established itself as a preeminent manufacturing and global export location for high-end energy-efficient lighting products. Moreover, Xiamen, China facilities foundries for the top five international brands. I believe the above mentioned reasons could facilitate the reliability and validity of the study.By this study, we could understand why the situation of over capitalization occurs in all upper, middle and lower stream of the LED general lighting industry. A large space for growth is just one of the reasons. We also can understand the details for being a leader in this highly competitive global industry by discussing the management capacity of Everlight Electronics, the leader in the Taiwan LED component packaging industry. The conclusions and theories presented in this study aim to be a significant resource for developing new sales and customers in the LED industry as well as a guideline for novice sales and marketing personnel to accelerate their understanding of the customer development process.
