This paper examines teaching the English language in Saudi Arabia and China. It also discusses the importance of establishing a bilingual program in Saudi Arabia and China public schools. The author includes teacher opinions about how they teach the English language in Saudi Arabia and China through interview questions of twelve teachers from each country. Both groups of teachers were confident in their ability to teach the English language and believed national teachers were as effective as native speaking teachers.
