This book examines the economic challenges facing the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Monetary Union and discusses the macroeconomic policies pursued by their authorities in detail. Nikolaos Karagiannis is Professor of Economics at Winston-Salem State University, USA; a Research Scholar at the Global Institute for Sustainable Prosperity; and an invited visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge, England. He is the author, co-author, and co-editor of twenty-eight books, contributed chapters to several books, and has published widely in academic journals.
