Notable books include: Muslim Youth in the Diaspora: Challenging Extremism through Popular Culture (2017), and Adolescents in Contemporary Indonesia (2013 co-authored). Professor Yekti Maunati was previously a Research Professor at BRIN; the Indonesian National Research and Innovation Agency. Books include: Women at Work: Migrant Women in a Melbourne Auto-parts Factory (2002) and Borders and Beyond: Transnational Migration and Diaspora in Northern Thailand Border Areas with Myanmar and Laos (2018 co-authored).
