This manual provides expert knowledge on the theory and practice of conducting a brief motivational intervention with adolescents after alcohol intoxication, with the aim of promoting low-risk use of alcohol. Prof. Dr. med. Rainer Thomasius is Medical Director of the German Centre for Addiction Research in Childhood and Adolescence (DZSKJ) at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf.
