This book offers a novel perspective on how middle-income countries can adapt their copyright systems in response to technological advancements. To address the gap in existing copyright law, potential protection models, including sui generis rights and neighbouring rights, are examined. These alternatives advocate for a balanced approach that fosters innovation while safeguarding human contributors. Through the comparative analysis and policy-driven recommendations, the book is an essential resource for academics, legal professionals, and policymakers seeking to navigate the evolving intersection of AI and copyright law.
